Trinity Lutheran Church Back-to-Worship Plan

Trinity Lutheran Church resumed in-person worship on May 23, 2020, following a two-month closure due to the concerns surrounding COVID-19. The back-to-worship plan for Trinity Lutheran Church continues to evolve as the pandemic affects the Aberdeen area. Here are the latest guidelines for in-person worship at Trinity.

Worship Services

Trinity continues to offer two in-person worship services every weekend. Trinity offers a Saturday night worship service at 5 p.m. and a Sunday morning worship service at 9:00 a.m. Both worship services have been modified to accommodate members who have varying concerns about COVID-19.

Saturday 5 p.m. Worship

  • Saturday night worship will be modified to accommodate adequate social distancing.
  • Members are asked to sit in every other pew during the Saturday evening worship service.
  • Any members who are in the at-risk category or who do not feel comfortable resuming normal worship should attend the Saturday worship service.
  • Masks may be worn to worship but are not required.

Sunday 9 a.m. Worship

  • Sunday morning worship will mostly resume to a normal service format.
  • The two pews in the back of the sanctuary have been reserved to accommodate those who wish to social distance.
  • The remainder of the pews in the sanctuary are open and available for those attending the service.
  • Masks may be worn to worship but are not required.
All worship services will be recorded and posted online and on Trinity's YouTube channel for those who may not be able to attend in-person worship services.
